Important Announcement

We are pleased to announce that starting Saturday September 25, 2010 you will now be able to purchase furniture items on our direct purchase program at the Auction Sale. Over 250 furniture items will be available at each auction for direct purchase. All items purchased will be in brand new cartons direct from the manufacturer. The products will be brand new just as you would buy them from your local furniture store. The pricing will be the lowest prices seen at any auction sale for the same product and model number anywhere in Canada.We invite you to compare our prices to any auction sale or discount furniture outlet and you will see for yourself that we are the number one auction house and liquidator choice to purchase your furniture from. 

A number of auctioneers are traveling the Ontario circuit selling off furniture that has been returned from stores, customers, damaged in transit, parts missing, bad factory productions, and items that have now simply been manufactured by importers for the auction market. The items that are now appearing in the market place for auction seem to have substandard quality starting at the manufacturing level. This is now seen more often in the quality of the purported leathers and coverings that are used in sofas offered at auction. The lifespan of this product is proving to be less than one year at best. When you try to find the company that sold you this item, they generally have changed their name by the time you track them down, leaving you with your purchase that you thought was a great deal at the time. 

The old saying - "You get what you pay for" applies when you purchase furniture that you do not know the source of when buying from auctions. It is natural instinct to try and buy as cheap as possible and expect the most for your money when buying furniture at auction, however this is not always the case when you get your furniture home and see the scratches that were touched up, the pieces that are missing, the warped wood, the mismatched rails, cracked mirrors, lopsided chairs, uneven table finishes, discoloration, fabric fading, and the list goes on.

This is all acceptable when declared at auction and you know what you are getting, however in most cases the unscrupulous auctioneers that now travel the circuit will never declare the real reason the items are being sold and you end up paying more in the end for your item.

We now allow you the client to buy direct through the appointed liquidator at a predetermined price without having to wait around at auctions for your item to be sold, and further you can expect to receive a brand new product without any defects whatsoever and also expect the quality you will see in any major furniture store and even sometimes the products found in the higher end designer shops.

Further we now invite you to email  the liquidator directly for a quote on any furniture item featured in the gallery of photos on the website. This gallery changes weekly and new items arrive daily. This will now solve the problem for clients who are out of the area when the auction takes place and cannot attend in person.

We strongly believe that you the client now have a lot of choice in the market place where to spend your dollars and we will now give you the best value for your dollar and quality that we are confident will be to the highest of standards.

Delivery and pick up service is always available.

How do you find out about our auctions? Advertisement in the Oshawa this Week newspaper

What did you think about the selection? I thought that the selection was quite astonishing, to be honest. I went specifically for the LG display model TVs that were being auctioned off, bought three, and a whole lot of other things too, ranging from coins, to jewelry to bedding, and kitchen supplies.

How did you find our auctioneer? The auctioneer was for the most part very much informed. The acoustics at the Whitby curling club left a lot to be desired, but other than that, he was very good.

How often do you attend our auctions? The auction in Whitby was the first one that I attended. Because of the selection, however, I've got my dad and my girlfriend both wanting to attend one in the near future.

What other auctions have you attended in the past? Various estate, regional, and police auctions.

How did you find our check out staff? (comments) The staff was amazing. Knowledgeable, courteous and respectful - couldn't ask for better service. Ben especially went out of his way to go the extra mile. Thanks to everyone there!

How did you find our delivery service? (comments) I didn't use this service.

How did you find our front desk registration staff? (comments) The young lady at the registration desk showed a tremendous amount of poise and decorum, which was well noted. She was certainly over-burdened at times, but handled it well at all times.

Will you attend our auctions again? Absolutely

What did you think of the prices overall? The prices were very good, in some cases I was successful in getting items for less than $0.01 on the dollar.

Would you recommend this auction to your friends? I already have! We're making plans to get to one soon!

Other Comments What more can I say? The experience was fabulous, the staff were quick, knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous - traits which are all too often lacking these days. A truly positive and enjoyable experience all around - and the auctioneer even memorized by bid number (I know - that means that I bought WAY too much!). I am definitely looking forward to my next auction with auctioneers.ca.

How do you find out about our auctions? My friends told me about your auction and escorted me there for my first visit on Saturday last.
What did you think about the selection? Thought there was a good selection: furniture, decorative items, clothing, jewellery - lots of variety.
How did you find our auctioneer?  (clairity, informative, speed, comments, etc.) Al moves along quickly. He is informative, descriptive, congenial and easy to follow.
How often do you attend our auctions? I plan on attending regularly - bi monthly.
What other auctions have you attended in the past? I go to estate auctions for the most part; sometimes I attend surplus or freight auctions.
How did you find our check out staff? (comments) The staff is attentive and helpful; they make an effort to acknowledge the client.

To whom it may concern,

I had purchased a 50 inch T.V. from your auction and had a problem with it as soon as I got home. I contacted the person listed on the form I recieved with the TV. This man is a credit to your warranty program and helped me out with my problem right away and to my satisfaction. I was quite worried purchasing a T.V. from an auction but am not anymore knowing it is backed up.

Originally through a friend but I now get a regular e mail.

What did you think about the selection?

Every week is a surprise. Because the prices and the selection are great, I can't seem to come to your auction without going home without purchasing several items.

Al is a great guy. He is very clear, explains the items, works quickly and efficiently, great sense of humour and makes the auction fun.

How often do you attend our auctions?

I try and attend at least a couple of times a month sometimes more if I don't have other commitments.

What other auctions have you attended in the past?

I have attended and still attend other auctions but yours is not like the others. I can come to your auction and buy items that I can use for gifts. Most of the other auctions don't sell new items, they sell mainly collectibles and used household items and furniture.

Most of the time they are quite efficient, sometimes a little difficult to understand but otherwise friendly and polite.

I have not used your delivery service so I can't comment.

Kristen is a great lady. She works quickly and efficiently while being friendly and polite. Al is lucky to have her.

What did you think about the selection? Very broad selection of jewellery ranging from inexpensive costume to high quality appraised pieces and all at great prices. Some very unique art as well as the usual prints all very well framed and inexpensive.Lots of household items and cllectables.

How did you find our auctioneer? Al is very fast and tends to intersperse humour with factual information making time go by very quickly.

We were passing through going for a ride one saturday...And came upon your sign.

What did you think about the selection? The selection is great and very good quality that will stand up for years

She is wonderful at her job and would assist you with any questions and find answers to any questions you may have! She is definitly an asset.
